Sources for free/cheap medical textbooks

Recommended Posts

I've bought a good number of books from alibris.com

There are a wealth of old textbooks - often used - for a tiny fraction of the cost of new ones. I got Dubin for 3 bucks, Bates for 20, JAMA RCE series for 20 bucks, Mini Harrison's for $5... etc etc... only problem is they have to ship to a central distribution centre to reship to you so it takes 3-4 weeks to arrive.

Aside from the books on torrents, I use:

http://medicalbooksfree.com/ for quick pdf textbooks

http://www.bookdepository.com/ for the 'must haves' like bates and netters at prices cheaper than Amazon and Chapters.

you guys know of any other sources out there?

damn i wish you posted this a couple days earlier... i just ordered bates from amazon for an extra $50 lol :(
