cdn premed
Hey all! I already have a new laptop, but I am not wondering if getting an ipad is worth it? Are the required textbooks in digital form? (I will be attending u of t for med school) Do any of you study on the go using an ipad? Thanks! Renin
You don't need an iPad.
medtech
an ipad doesn't have more mobility than a laptop unless you get a 17 inch one with an amazing graphics card that probably overheats anyways... if you want to study on the go and you already have a notebook or netbook, ipad is a waste of money. For instance, I have an alienware m11x, portable, 5 hour battery life, have robins pathology and a number of other books on it that I can read on the go

I do have all of the lecture recordings for our preclerkship on my iPad, plus all of the core textbooks and find it comes in handy quite a bit
