Is it more difficult to get into med school from Western Canada? (Considering that there are only 3 med schools in westerm canada, but eastern canada has the 5 ontario schools + McGill+ Dalhousie)

Dividing it into east or west doesn't really work, since schools favour applicants only from their own provinces rather than from anyone in the same region (e.g. Calgary doesn't care if you're from BC or Ontario, you're still an out of province applicant). There's no "easy" place to get into med school in Canada, but I'd say Ontario is the most difficult province overall (acceptance rate = under 15%) because none of the schools there favours Ontario students. Out of province applicants are considered equally compared to Ontario students, without any sort of quotas. Whereas at schools like UBC and McGill, only about 5 out of province students are allowed in each year, most other schools limit out of province students to 15% of the class, etc.
