Majority of Atlantic Bridge schools don't interview applicants?

Hello,

I just received my confirmation email that my application has been received by ABP. According to the email, all the schools except RCSI and Limerick don't conduct interviews, they merely select candidates based on the application. I wasn't aware of this, and it definitely caught me by surprise. Anyone know why this is? I can't help but think of low brow Caribbean schools that don't use interviews when selecting clients either.

Personally, I would feel more comfortable attending a school that accepted me based on an interview + my application rather than my application alone.

 

I only applied to three schools (RSCI, Limerick and UCD) so the above doesn't affect me that much other than UCD, I just thought it was interesting.
