Anyone here a student at uAlberta for either OT or PT?

What was your GPA at time of applying?

I'm looking to apply either next year or for the 2014 school year, and just wondering what to expect out of the application process

Here's what it says online: 'Minimum GPA of 3.0 on the 4-point scale (75%, or grade of on the most recent 60 credits (20 courses)

 

GPA is primarily used to determine the overall ranking of applicants. Although we require 3.0 for application, please note that in previous years 3.3 was considered a competitive GPA

 

Preference given to students who have completed 30 credits over two consecutive terms'

For PT, if you are in province 3.5 or higher. If you're out of province 3.8 minimum.

For OT, if you are in province 3.0-3.3 or higher. If out of province, 3.5 or higher.

This is for last year so expect them to go up in the coming years.

This year the minimum gpa for uofa ot was a 3.4. It has been going up every year. If you have a 3.6 you will qualify for early acceptance.
