Guest babytooth
I was wondering if any dental students recommend looking over "Dental Ethics" before an interview??? I've heard from a couple of U of A students that in their interviews they were asked questions relating to dental ethics.
Guest nanoarray
:| ? Really?? How come I didn't have it in my interview??? But, some of the situational questions can be related to the real dental clinic/school in some ways. A few examples: 1) The clients feel they have been overcharged. 2) The clients are dissatisfied or angry with you for the services you provide. 3) The professor doesn't like the denture/crown/filling/etc you make, although it looks marvelous to you. These can be translated into: 1) That department store question. (You know which question I'm talking about, right?) 2) Tell me a time someone was not satisfied with you. 3) You got bad marks for essays/reports. Guest nanoarray
Oh, dear, after re-reading what I wrote, it sounds like nobody is happy with anybody in the dental world... :b
Guest babytooth
Thanks for the input! I guess it may sound silly if I recite the code of ethics in my interview. I'm not sure about the department store question though?
Guest nanoarray
Never heard of that question? 0] I got it from this forum... Anyway, browse through the UofA Dental Class 2007 Survival Guide. Somewhere around there.
