Time stamp: February 7th, 4:17PM Interview Date: 03/02 Result: Invite wGPA: 4.0 MCAT: 13PS/13VR/10BS/T ECs: Lots of work (I worked all through school so this includes some customer service stuff, summer camps, tutoring, research jobs, and the "real life" job I've been at since I graduated last Spring), research with one publication, some local volunteering, music, sports... nothing "exceptional" but lots of things that do a good job of representing who I am. Essays: I felt great about them, I've always loved writing so I thought they went well. It was challenging saying everything I wanted to say within the word limits, but overall I was happy with the results. I guess this gave me leverage. Essays: Spent the most time on since other schools didn't require anything aside from McMaster CASPer prep. Rewrote the essays about 10 times and had many ppl give me their opinion and went with what I was most comfortable with and what I felt best represented my views/beliefs. Worked on them over the course of a week and had them edited by a resident and my partner (an English major). Year: 2nd year MPH (non-trad? I'll be 26 this year...) IP This is my first time applying and I didn't receive interviews at Mac or Ottawa, so I am pretty pumped about U of T!
