NSERC Reversion List

So I just got an email saying that I've been placed 7th on the reversion list for NSERC/USRA. Does this mean I'm 7th on the waiting list and if so, what're the chances that I'll get an award? The email had a line saying "...you will be offered an award, according to your standing, if any of the first group of students decline their award." To me, this sounds like if just one person declines their award, then I'll be able to take their spot. Is that true or do I have to wait for 7 people to decline their award?

If it means anything, I was offered an NSERC position on Feb 28, and the deadline for the app was about Jan 25 (if I recall correctly).

Sounds like if 7 people decline, you will get an award. Hope that helps.
