WES - verification of grade scales for American schools (DO, MD)

Has anyone had experience using the WES (or equivalent services) for verification of grades that are received on a non-4.0 scale?

 

Background: I have taken courses at multiple schools and I can give a breakdown of the grade point scales used.

- A 9-point grading scale (with no letter grades or percentages on transcript)

- A 4.3 scale (with letter grades, but no percentage grades on transcript)

- A 4.0 scale (with letter grades and percentages on transcript)

 

The American system has credit-hour differences as well. For example, I have taken multiple 3- and 6-credit (Canadian) courses that have labs associated with the class. I'm curious about the 3 vs. 4 semester hours and the 6 vs. 8 semester hours when converting to the American system.

 

I'd appreciate any insight.
