The first year medical students at the University of Ottawa will be hosting mock interviews for those who received interview invites. THIS IS STUDENT RUN AND IS NOT AFFILIATED WITH THE FACULTY. This is a tradition that first year medical students do. The mock interview dates are listed below. It will be a traditional style interview (not MMI) and the panel will consist of 3 medical students. The interview format is a 40 min mock interview and 15-20 min feedbacks from the medical students (1 hour long). They will be held at Roger Guindon in Ottawa, between February 10th and February 18th. The signup sheet will be made available to you on Sunday February 1st, at 5 p.m! Link and email address will be provided at that time. The sign-up instructions are as follows: 1. Please sign-up for a time and day that works best for you; slots will fill quickly and changes will likely not be possible 2. Enter in your first initial and the last four digits of your phone number (e.g. "L4323"); this alphanumeric code will ensure confidentiality 3. Email with your alphanumeric code (e.g. "L4323") and name IN THE SUBJECT LINE in the following format: "Full name, Alphanumeric code, email" 4. Only sign-up for the language (French or English) that you applied 5. DO NOT delete someone's name under ANY circumstances; we are monitoring edits and you will be removed from the mock interview process if you are found to be doing this 6. uOttawaAdmissionsRep Posted January 31, 2015 Author Report Share Posted January 31, 2015 To answer above questions, and to provide additional information: 1) As was written in the original post, the interviews will be held at "Roger Guindon [451 Smyth Rd] in Ottawa, between February 10th and February 18th". 2) a link to a Google doc will be provided on this thread at 5pm on February 1st, starting a first-come, first-served sign-up process. After sign-ups, an email will be sent out to those who have signed up with further details. 3) No interviews will be conducted over Skype 4) Specifically, the dates/times for the mock interviews will be (in one hour timeslots): Wednesday, February 11th, Time: 1-4pm Thursday, February 12th, Time: 6-9pm Friday, February 13th, Time: 1-4pm Friday February 13th, Time: 5-8pm Saturday February 14th, Time: 9-12pm Saturday February 14th, Time: 1-4pm Sunday February 15th, Time: 9-12pm Sunday February 15th, Time: 1-4pm Wednesday February 18th, Time 1:30-4:30pm Wednesday February 18th, Time 1:30-4:30pm Thanks! LINK: bit.ly/168V3f1 Please note the following: Only those invited for interviews at uOttawa are eligible to sign up You may only sign up for an interview in the language/stream for which you applied You may only sign-up for one interview timeslot You will be required to sign and submit a waiver before the interview Do not edit the document in any way, apart from entering your name into empty timeslots - this will be closely monitored. Sign up using your personal alphanumeric code (first initial + last 4 digits of your phone number - "L1234") Once signed-up, send an email right away to uottawamockinterviews@gmail.com with the following in the subject line: "Full Name, Alphanumeric Code, Email" to complete the sign-up process.
