Someone please tell me what I am doing wrong, for I am a dunce and cannot figure out how to release my MCAT scores. My understanding is this: Although my scores will not be available until after the application deadline (release date of Oct 6), I need to log in to the MCAT system before the application deadline to "release" my scores to the U of C and as long as I do that the U of C will receive my scores when they are available. I cannot for the life of me find the magical way to do this in the MCAT system. I have googled and tried 2-3 different suggested methods and none of them are giving me the option to release my scores. Can anyone help me? freewheeler Posted September 7, 2015 Report Share Posted September 7, 2015 Once your scores are made available to you (depending on your testing date--search Mcat 2015 score release schedule) then you log in to see your scores and release them from there. Dr. Walker said in his presentation that you had to release them by October 1, even if your scores wouldn't be available until after that date... I have a history button that does nothing when I click it and I have a void/no show button that, when clicked, says I have no voids or no shows in my history. Thanks for including pictures though! I thought I might be crazy and have different screens then the instructions described so at least I know I'm on the right section! That's how it's usually done in tech support ...... no problem. GH0ST Posted September 7, 2015 Report Share Posted September 7, 2015 Nope, just wrote for the first time :-) That would likely explain it...... which means you really do have to wait until you get a score before those tabs are available to you. Yea saw that as well. So somehow you do your stuff before Oct 1... then have a window of opportunity after Oct and before Oct 15 during which you can go online and release your MCAT scores to them........ I.e., after our september scores are released, we just go on that AAMC website and release it? Do we have to do anything on the OMSAS website to release them or is it just the AAMC?
