Guest eJaya
Hi there, I am looking for a one bedroom apartment suitable for a couple (and possibly a dog), near the medical building at Dalhousie. If anyone knows of a place for rent or where I can find one, please post! Thank you! MArgaret
Guest UWOMED2005
Try looking at the apartment buldings on Tower Rd. (Queen Sana Tower, etc) or on South Park (ie Park Victoria.) Great if you don't have wheels - they're about 5 min walk from campus and 5 min from the Sobey's by Fenwick place.
Guest eJaya
Hi UWOMED2005, I am only moving to Halifax at the end of August (I have to finish my thesis). Do you know the numbers of these places (so I can call) or do you know someone who is renting their apartment for next year? Thanks! Guest UWOMED2005
Sadly, I don't. I lived in Queen Sana for two years, but that was two years ago.
Guest 17
Hey ejaya-- the website, http://www.halifaxapartmentrentals.com has contact numbers, availability listings and floor plans. I'm waiting to sign the lease for an apartment there--it seems pretty nice. Looking forward to meeting you in August!
Guest eJaya
Thanks UWI2005 and 17! I have checked that site out but I want to move in in August and all of the apartments aren't available until September 1st I'll keep looking. I may just have to put a tent up in the med building!
