Crispy_Dorito
"The combined cut-off score for academic average (65%) and DAT (15%) was 88.0453% for non-Saskatchewan Residents." Does anyone know how this cut-off score is determined?
Coronaxtra
No idea. I had a 94.5% GPA but a DAT of 23/21/16 for AA/RC/PAT and got an invite.
topomax
Did you check if your pre-req avg meets the cutoff??
aspdent1
Ok I think I figured out how they incorporate the DAT into the cut-off %. To determine the cut-off, your best 2-year GPA is used (65% weight) and an average of your RC, AA and PAT scores (15% weight). I don't know your stats so I'll use made up numbers. Let's say your GPA is 92.5% and you DAT scores are 20 RC, 21 AA and 22 PAT. You convert your GPA into a score out of 65 (92.5 x 0.65 = 60.125) and average your DAT scores ( (20+21+22)/3) = 21 ). You then convert your averaged DAT score (21/30=70) to a score out of 15 (70 x 0.15 = 10.5). Lastly, add up the 2 scores for a score out of 80 (the combined weight of GPA and DAT). In this case, it would be 60.125 + 10.5 = 70.625. This score out of 80 translates to a combined percentage of 88.28%, which is above the cutt-off and would grant an interview. Hope this helps. Of course, I am not 100% sure this is correct but it makes the most sense.

aspdent1
Thanks, everyone. I think you are both right because I calculated it and I am around 0.01 below this cutoff... RIP haha Do you know how many OOP were invited? I think there are 6 places for OOP according to their guide. No idea. I think I read somewhere that it's around

ndubs12
Does anyone know when the offers are coming out for U of S? At the orientation I believe the lady said mid-April. She said that this year they pushed the date back from the original "end of March" date that was mentioned in the invite.
