positivetension
So I submitted the Western scholarship/bursary application and Schulich Scholarship application, and did end up receiving an admission bursary, but a very small one (given my financial situation, I was kind of surprised and was hoping for more). Are there other options for scholarships/bursaries, and are some awarded later in the term/year? I know that almost everyone has to use a LOC, but I am receiving no financial help from parents and obviously want to use as little of it as possible. applicant111
Not sure if this is any help, but I too am from a very low income family and received a small bursary (~2.5k).
aray623
Same here! (2.3K) I was hoping for a bit more based on what others have said (10K in some instances)
thuls.m
I've heard there are awards/bursaries awarded during the White Coat Ceremony... could anyone chime in and tell us if this is true, and whether we are notified of this ahead of time? Thanks!

Thanks! Two ways, you get notified before your tuition payment so it automatically shows up on your student fees account so you pay the difference (i.e., tuition less the bursaries and scholarships). Second way is you pay the whole tuition, and when the dust settles regarding bursaries, you will get a refund. You can consider having OSAP sent directly to the school as well.
