perle
heard the total is 150 across canada and distributed evenly but for each school I don't think the numbers are officially out.

Maybe i misread, but you asked "how does this compare to last year" Last years data of how many went unmatched after first round, and after second round are both equally available. perle
From the Carms 2019 match report: 157 unmatched after 1st iteration 31 unmatched after 2nd iteration So, stable I guess. I know McGill cut its unmatched rate by a lot compared to last year, but official numbers are still not out.
Careltonravens9
For uOttawa.... 99.4% match rate, only one student unmatched. Matched a bunch to competitive specialties to including: optho, plastics, ENT, emerg, obgyn, etc. On my emerg carms tour, I was repeatedly told Ottawa clerks were stronger than other students in Ontario. Speaks volume to our faculty and program.

Galaxsci
Toronto had a 97-98% match rate, sounds like it might've been an abnormally good year country wide?
thethirdlaw
From unsubstantiated (but in my opinion reliable) murmurs, McGill is sitting at 94-95% this year.
