The place is walking distance to school and the mall/grocery. It is well lit and beautifully furnished with a balcony and working fireplace. Guest JSS02 Posted July 10, 2004 Report Share Posted July 10, 2004 If you want to live in one of the apartment buildings right next to the Richmond gates, Parkdale Place (1201) is probably the best of the 4 (and not just because I live there ). It's mostly retired people as well as meds, dents, law, Ivey, and grad students. Somerset (1209) has a lot of undergrads in it and tends to be noisier. Dorchester (1231) is kinda ghetto, from what I hear. Whitehall (1265) is OK too, but I've heard some complaints from people who live there as well.
