- Which Canadian Medical Schools Only Look at 2 years? (& how do the others calculate the GPA)

 

- Do SUmmer Course Count Towards The GPA??

Hi there,

 

There are at least two schools which require that at least two years must be at or above their GPA cut-offs: Queen's and Calgary. For the latter, though, they take into consideration the remainder of your academic record at other points in the selection process.

UWO uses only your best two full-time (ie 5 full courses between Sept and April) undergraduate years. You must meet the GPA cut in EACH of the two years. Summer courses are never counted. The rest of your academic record in disregarded.

so other then those 3 schools the other schools look at all 4 years???
