hello I was wondering if there anyone who can help me with MMI practice. I have an interview coming up on the 14th of February but I am currently at school in NY and have no way of getting to Van to partake in any practice events that are scheduled. I was wondering if there is someone help me in anyway or who can email me some scenarios that I could practice here with my school officials. Since as of now I am going in blind, I am a BC resident but due to cost and school requirements I am unable to get there for practice. Thanks soo much for any help or advice I may receive. Did anyone attend last weeks saturday session? Did 12 pm at scarfe work?

 

I wasn't able to make it, but I haven't heard from anyone. I know that I couldn't find rooms to book in the building. If it worked, fine, we'll meet there. If not, I'd like to hold the session at the LSC. It's a big open area, we can split into groups of two and practice questions.

 

Is everyone ok with that?

I haven't missed any Saturday meeting. As far as I know, the meeting location has not been changed, still wait outside Education Library (12:00pm SHARP) and last practice was pretty successful.

 

We have discussed that since we don't want to get distrupted or get kicked out from the open space (e.g. we respect that some people maybe having serious study time there), unless there are rooms for practices (rooms similar to MMI ones perhaps[?] that we are legitiamte to use), we will continue to practice in Neville Scarfe building.

 

Thanks sharmadharma for summarizing the times for this week's practice and clear the list of names. I don't think we need the list of user names anymore since not everyone on the list showed up anyways.

There seems to be some confusion as to where the Saturday session is. Some people have voiced concerns as to holding the session in the LSC because

 

a) we might be robbing students who are actually allowed to be there (med students) of their room/space

B) we might be kicked out in the middle of a session since we're technically not supposed to be there

 

So I can easily change the website, but I'm uncertain as to what to change it to.

 

Also, what list are you referring to?

 

Edit: I updated the time for the Saturday group and put up a list of MMI questions/scenarios on the website. These are mostly different from the list compilations of the Sunday group.

Hey Deanis, I cant seem to access the list of MMI questions zip you put up - it seems to be in a weird format. Is this on your side as well or just my computer? Thanks :)
