2009 Queen's Interviews - When they are coming out / email delays / a few stats

Just got my invite email....like 20 seconds ago so they are coming.

Sweet, they saved me a trip down to their office. Just got the e-mail resent to me.

 

invite with 3.74 cGPA, 3.846 2 year GPA and

 

11/11/12 R mcat.

I just got an interview invite with a 9 in PS too... 9P/11V/13B/R. My cGPA is like 3.48 and my last two years is 3.74 tops. Queen's is weird.

I'm a little suspicious that everyone today is getting invites while everyone on Friday got rejections... I'm a little worried that this was a mistake and they're going to take my invite away, haha.

Does anyone else see it as safe to say the cutoff is 10/10/10, Q, with a cumulative 31? last 2 years gpa 3.76?

That's really strange....there were a lot of people on Friday with stats equivalent or better than your MCAT with higher GPAs that got rejected likely due to a 9 in one section.

Nope... I was invited with a 9 in PS and a 2-year GPA that isn't more than 3.74 unless they do math differently than I do.

Hahaha, yeah, I'm worried about that too. The only thing was that I didn't see a lot of 9s in PS, so I'm wondering if that was allowed as long as the overall score was over 31 or something. And nope, not grad. I'm confused for sure.

Just to confuse people more...

I received an e-mail invitation for an interview at Queen's (sent today at 1:15pm).

MCAT score: 9 PS, 12 BS, 12 VR, S WS

Yes, I do have a 9 on my MCAT, and still received an interview!

My cGPA (OMSAS) is 3.71, best two years is approx. 3.8.

I am currently in my fourth year of undergrad.

I hope this helps people who have a 9 on their MCAT! Don't give up hope!
