janny_jan
wooohoooo! Great program at Western! I'm just heading into my 2nd year of my masters so i dont have experience job searching yet. I know quite a number of Health and Rehab sci grads who get jobs in health promotion or at the health unit here in london. If you look at hospital websites, a lot of the jobs in this area need a Masters degree. I've also heard of graduates becoming directors/coordinators of rehab services..like cardiovascular rehab programs working with OTs, PTs, etc. There are also jobs available to continue with research. I know of a variety of research teams at the hospitals here in London who hire recent graduates with a MSc in HRS You make some great contacts doing your research as the HRS program is closely tied to OT, PT, Speech/Language pathology, and Kin. PM me if you want more info!
