e_is_hv
Hey Everyone, I think I vaguely remember a thread being posted on this before (not sure). I'm really interested in neurology, but would love to somehow put all that physics and engineering I learned in my undergrad to use, so considering radiology too. I'm heard the term "Neuroimager" being thrown around. I known they're not radiologists, but can anyone comment on this situation in Canada? I'm sure they're no where near as sophisticated as radiology, and can't do nearly the same things, but curious to see where (if any) place this fits it. Please also include if they can bill. Many, many thanks, e_is_hv
Lactic Folly
Haven't heard of it myself.
A-Stark
Well, neuroscientists will use imaging modalities to study brain function. Radiologists specializing in imaging of the nervous system are called neuroradiologists, which for the purposes of clinical work would be synonymous with "neuroimaging". JCTulip
In the states, many neurologists and neurosurgeons buy CT scanners and read and bill them, and call themselves "neuroimagers".
