nosuperman
Interesting video about radiology as a career choice. The speakers discuss the upsides/downsides of the profession, as well as how they came to chose radiology over various other specialties. Guest appearance by Ian Wong @ 50min. (note: there's some waiting that happens at the beginning, just fast forward until the girl comes to the podium)

DOC_Ma
wow Ian gardiner is great! I still wonder how he got into uoft with his record. He never said how he overcome that to get into radiology.

rmorelan
interesting how even <20 years ago radiology was very competitive. gardiner got pretty lucky it seems. I would say so Pretty interesting speech - I suspect he is a bit of a thorn in the side of some people down there. he probably also served as a bit of a warning for the schools I am sure - Toronto would not be happy about the ratings drop he mentioned for instance. While he is an exciting special case I have to wonder whether he also helped close the very door he went through.
