Hieu Posted December 27, 2011 Report Share Posted December 27, 2011 I think it's the first time they uses a dead HIV-1 virus. Usually, a dead virus is working well in others kinds of vaccine. But it's only phase I, phase II will need at least 3 years, phase III will need at least another 3 years, except if outcomes will be so good ... they will get a fast track drug program from the FDA.
