For Medecine : Law vs. Pharmacy

Recommended Posts

Simple thread :

Objectively, which is more likely to lead to an acceptance in a Qc med school (Sherbrooke) in the least time ?

Sc. DEC : CRC 32.3

1st year UdeM Law : GPA 3.6/4.3 (1st semester) (based on average and not grades)

*Second semester looks stronger so far

Thanks !

EDIT : This is a backwards way of asking if I should accept a Pharm. offer !

Is your average in law fixed? Also, it's always better to do what we like more because we will be more motivated, but going to a program where the average is fixed to B or B+ (like PharmD at UdeM) is not a good idea.

As other people say, go into what you feel will be best, because even with a good CRU, nothing guarantees acceptance into med school.

Just grade wise, I think I'd choose pharmacy. Even if class average is fixed low, as long as you can make it over the average, you'll have a great cote R because of the IFG.
