Pass/fail Organic Chemistry?

Hi, I have a quick question.

My school has Organic chemistry 1 and 2 (4 credits each)

I was wondering if I should take and pass/fail orgo 2. How does pass/failing a prereq look on my application? 

I know organic chemistry is a prereq for many US schools. Many of them require 6 credits with lab, which means I have to take orgo 2 right? 

 

Alternatively, if I don't take it, does that close many doors for me when I apply to schools?

Please don't tell me to look at MSAR...
