Interviewed: Western

Waitlisted: Western (normal waitlist)

Accepted: Western, at the Windsor campus (campus preference was London)

 

I'd like to thank God, my family, friends and also a lot of people on this forum for all the help over the years.

 

Extremely happy that you got in off the waitlist, see you in the Fall!

Finally accepted today (got call around 10:00 am), off regular waitlist, during my graduation ceremony! Preference London, accepted Windsor campus.

 

When do we get the email? Thanks everyone good luck to the rest!

Congratulations postman, it must have been a nice graduation present! I got the email on the same afternoon that MaryAnn called, so you should have it by now.

Today at 11:15 I received the call.

 

Stats:

cGPA: 3.73

wGPA: 3.85

MCAT: 12 PS, 11 VR, Q, 10 BS

 

Non-SWOMEN

 

Applied: Toronto, Western, Queen's, Mac, NOSM, Calgary, Dal

Interviewed: Western

Accepted: Western off the regular wait list.

 

For all those wondering if the MCATs will change, I almost didn't apply to UWO since I didn't meet the previous year's MCAT. Glad I did now! :)

 

Undergrad was in engineering, with a master's in clinical engineering. Now to go finish that master's thesis...

yos all!

got the e-mail off the normal waitlist about a week ago, for windsor campus (my first choice; yayayay!!!).

 

Stats:

2-year GPA: 3.92

4-year GPA: 3.75 (massive fail 4th-year)

MCAT: 11 PS, 12 VR, 14 BS, writing was N or O

EC: tutoring, music, and random others; spent lots of time here, but nothing impressive

 

Applied: all of Ontario except NOSM, Manitoba, UofA, UMemorial

Interviewed: Western, Toronto, McMaster, Manitoba

Waitlisted: all of the above :eek:

Accepted: McMaster, but waited it out for WESTERNYEAH!!!

 

Undergrad was in general med sci at Western, which I finished a year ago.

 

This was my second time applying. Last year I applied with a poor MCAT score (but a higher GPA) and got an interview at Mac before they threw me out in the cold, lol.

 

Also, I'm in China right now, where facebook is blocked (OMG, communism), so it's gonna be nearly August before I exist for reals.

I got a call from Mary-Ann at Schulich this morning and she offered me a spot at London, which I accepted. I guess a spot will be opening up in Windsor!
