Yes! It seems as though you’d be a competitive applicant for OOP. A friend of mine applied as OOP this year with very similar stats to you and got an interview.

Definitely worth applying. With your ECs and diversity in experiences I think you’d have a solid chance at getting an interview at U of C. Good luck!

I agree with the others, your stats seem competitive. But it all comes down to how well you write your Top 10.

Thanks everyone!! Does anyone have insight if the same conclusion applies to Alberta? Is it worth throwing an application into Alberta as well?

For OOP students who got interviews at UofA this year, the avg score was: Av gpa 3.93, av personal activities score of 7, av mcat 518.24

IMO as long as you meet the required minimum and you have great EC's it's always worthwhile. You never know who's going to read your application and find it impressive...or not. Obviously there is a financial element to consider as well.

I applied with slightly lower stats than OP this cycle, got an interview at Calgary but not Alberta. Alway shoot your shot wherever you can, you won't know until you try

Plus UofA is a much shorter app than Calgary

That's true, I couldn't sell myself at U of A as well and it is slightly more numbers heavy than U of C. I think OP would be competitive at both Alberta schools.
