peony1357
Posting on behalf of my friend. Unfortunately in preclerkship he was investigated for academic misconduct after getting innapropriately flagged by the AI proctor. As a result, he had to rewrite the exam. Now that he is applying to cpso, he disclosed that he was investigated for academic misconduct, and his case has been referred to the registration committee for review. He is very worried that this will lead to him being denied, or will impact his residency start date, as the review date is very close to july 1. Has anyone been through anything similar and can speak to how the process goes and whether he should be worried that this will impact his application or residency start date? Thank you in advance

Butterfly_
Well, if he was exonerated and did not cheat, then he doesn't have anything to worry about imo.

It’s moreso about the time for the process and whether that can delay residency in case CPSO takes beyond July
