Orchid
this might be a dumb question.... BUT what is the best format for the EK 101 verbal ? - do 7 passages, (usually about 46 questions), but how much time? - do 7 passages but eliminate randomly in each to total 40 questions, same time 60 mins as CBT (and for the above 2, how to go about geting a rough score then?) - do all 9 passages, in old school 85 mins time. thanks guys
Tan008
I do the 40 questions thing and then use one of the older MCAT scores/scles (usually 10R) to estimate the score.

Tan008
I usually do 6 passages with all the questions (that way I can make sure I'm not missing on the harder questions), but a couple of times I did 7 passages but just skipped some of the questions for the final total of 40 (seemed to work out fine either way). I just try to make sure that I don't spend more than 8:30 on each passage.
The Law
Sometimes I do 1-3 passages at once (rather than a whole test)... and I give myself 8 minutes / passage. You'll get slightly more time than this on a real verbal.

sbrugby
Did everyone find AAMC7 Physics ridiculously easy? I just did it and got 43/52 which is good enough for a 10. 2-3 of my mistakes were silly, and about 4-5 of the questions were easy knowledge questions had I studied that section already (only about 40% done through physics review). I'm hoping the real MCAT physics is just as easy.....
