has any one heard of any one getting off the wait list? some news passed under my radar that some one has but I have not been able to confirm! wondering if anyone else had heard anything regarding waitlist offers today????

What did you hear? Is it a reliable source? Multiple people on this forum have phoned admissions and they have said that no waitlist movement will occur until May 27th.

My source is reliable, it's my mom...but she's not the direct source. One of our close family friends whose been following my application through out called to see if I'd heard anything. when I said no she said her son had just called saying he saw one of his friends (at Mac) in facebook update their status today to "I just got accepted to Queens". naturally they'd assumed she got off the wait list... I couldn't get back to her son, and he is not really close with that girl anyways so he couldnt ask...

I'm hoping he read the date wrong or something. I also had a hard time believing it since we have called Jennifer multiple times and unlike some other schools that change decisions, her answer has always been the same. I was hoping I could get some verification here.

Your source is your mom who heard from her friend who heard from her son that he checked his facebook and saw an acquaintance of his update her facebook status... I don't think that's very reliable... that and there is the assumption that she got off the waitlist. "Just" could mean a couple days ago too, right (i.e. May 13)? Sorry I don't mean to be rude, and I'm having a hard time waiting too, but I guess all we should be doing now (regardless of whether the waitlist is moving or not) is trying to remain cool and doing whatever work you have (if any) well without being distracted about this. Tough I know!

Same as the email sent out in the initial round. Do you mind telling us your response deadline? It should be at the top of the form when you log into the website.

(Also an FYI for information hounds: I received an email from Queen's today reminding me that I had not yet responded to their offer, and have until Thursday to do so).
