When are they sending out official regrets? I am assuming I was rejected but it would be nice to get an email confirming this.

Has anyone gotten the rejection email yet?

They've already posted, not emailed, the official rejections. If you haven't heard anything by this Friday, email them - see their homepage for info. http://fhs.mcmaster.ca/mdprog/

This spreadsheet was posted on the forum last year - it calculates how much better than the average applicant you need to do on the MMI in order to win a spot based on your GPA and Verbal score. Keep in mind that it uses data from last year's cycle, and that the formula it uses may be inaccurate.

Edit: Have a look at this thread for some help on interpreting the spreadsheet. Best of luck!!

For anyone wondering, I found this spreadsheet useful because it I believe the fact that it gave me a numerical goal to reach for in terms of exceeding others' performance on the CASPer may have subconsciously helped me out.

For what it's worth, check it out.

Hey guys, I'm currently hosting the spreadsheet on my google doc. I just reset the file to last year's revision since there were some changes made between then and now. Not sure why the changes were made....

Anyway, caveat emptor and all that. If people have new stats, please make a note on the spreadsheet when you make changes.

Thank you for correcting it :)

Someone changed the VR average to 2.. and every stat (whether low or high) looked inexplicably optimistic for a while lol.
