Disability Insurance Broker In Vancouver

I was told that there is a specific insurance broker in Vancouver that offers the best rate for RBC disability insurance for medical residents. Does anyone know the name of this broker? RBC was unable to provide details.

It is really hard to believe as RBC sets the rate, not the broker. Last year anyhow, medical students who took out the RBC policy received a 35% discount for life and did not have to pay the first 5 months of premium. I don't know if this deal is available to residents.

Thanks. Yes, I agree that it would be unlikely for the rate to depend on the broker, so I was surprised by the comment. Can anyone suggest a particular broker in Vancouver or Victoria? It is surprisingly difficult to use Google to locate brokers that specialize in physician services.

My broker is a genreral broker but he also has many doctors as clients so he is familiar with the territory. I'm in another province.
