Neji3
Hi guys! Has anyone applied for graduate housing in the previous years? If so, how did you like the experience? Would you recommend it or is renting an apartment off-campus a better choice? Also, when did you hear back? And did you get one of your top choices? Thanks! doctor_snow
Montreal housing is so cheap and nice. There's really no need to use McGill housing, which is neither cheap nor nice. Look on craigslist or kijiji for nice places near campus. Most people love le plateau.

Yeah everyone I've spoken to has said the same. I am looking into renting my own place now. Thanks a bunch!
Vendar
I would suggest renting close to a metro or not too close to Avenue Des Pins. It is only first year classes that will be in McIntyre. The rest of the classes in 2nd year will be at Strathcona and you want access to the metro for LFME and Osler meetings. Common locations are around McGill, Peel and Atwater stations PM if you want more opinions about living!!
