Osler
I'm looking to get my vaccines soon, but I notice a discrepancy in the vaccination forms. The McGill Student Wellness Hub has the 2020 forms here (https://www.mcgill.ca/wellness-hub/access-care/vaccines#Required Immunizations by Program), but McGill admissions states that the form is still being reviewed by nurses (https://www.mcgill.ca/medadmissions/newstudents/conditions/immu-blsc) and has been this way for several months. Anyone know if the 2020 form on the student wellness hub is valid? Thank you!

"Thank you for your email message. Note that the immunization form you are seeing is not the correct one. The form is currently in the process of being approved and we are hoping to have it published on our website later this week. Stay connected." KitKatCo
Not that it really makes a difference... I doubt anymore can go see a healthcare provider to get their pertussis booster anyways. But it would be nice to have the info! Thanks for emailing

med_gods
How about the first aid course we need to take? I don't think any courses are being held right now due to COVID. Any news on this?

I remember it saying in the letter of admission that the deadline will remain July 31 for now but that they understand the situation and they will update us with more information later in the spring. I think it also said they're going to contact us to know each person's unique situation. I don't think you should worry about it because a lot of people are in the same boat and they'll probably extend the deadline for those who need more time. med_gods
FriendlyApple
Hello everyone, I have a few question about the vaccines. Has anyone been able to meet with a health care professional (ex. family doctor) in order to start their vaccines? Also, are there any centres which are currently open and offering vaccines? Thanks so much

Thanks so much I had an appointment at my local CLSC but they called last Friday to cancel due to the current situation and to book another appointment at the end of the crisis. I called at multiple places, even private clinics and didn’t get an appointment. Float.date

swtomd
Same here, I had an appointment at the CLSC for May 25th which has been pushed back to June 25th. Also, I work for one of the CIUSSS and all trainings have been cancelled, including BLS which was supposed to take place this month. I guess that we are all in the same boat.
