Rach
Thanks guys. I was sure I was put on hold but Baylor seems to do things differently from most other schools so you're never really out of the running until the end....

Rach
congrats Rach! just to clarify though, baylor accepts canadians who went to canadian undergrad? or did you do your undergrad in the U.S., lol. I'm not sure what their policy is. I did my undergrad in the US but someone posted recently that they called and were told that Baylor does accept Canadians with Canadian undergrad.... I'll search for that post if it helps. c17h
Rach, congrats! Baylor is amazing!! It was so relaxed and they were so nice! They are very much into honesty and truth, so they told us absolutely everything, including the questions that we were going to be asked prior to the interview. I am second guessing everything I said but I really do hope I get in It's such a wonderful school. I hope many of you get interviews there as well! PS. I'll get you the complete EVMS date tomorrow How/when was yours c17h? wrightm6, I was a little skeptical when you first posted this, but I had the same experience! The Admissions Coordinator told us what questions we were going to be asked and those questions were asked! Very easy, very standard questions. My Georgetown interview was 20 to 25 mins, 6 questions and no difficult/ethical questions. It was very conversational, and I really enjoyed my experience there. They really cared about helping you feel included and giving you a true sense of the school...and I think they captured that very well...very impressed and I would love to go to this school. c17h
thanks for the insight on your georgetown interview c17h, btw did you do student hosting or did you stay in a hotel? I'm not entirely sure yet what to book lol. The student hosting program wasn't running when I had my interview. The students who gave us our tour told us that it would be starting in the coming weeks. Most of the other interviewees stayed at the Georgetown Conference Center (literally beside the med school building) or at the local Holiday Inn/Best Western. Call the Interview Coordinator to see if student hosting is available. I booked a room at the Holiday Inn (about a 5 minute drive from the Med School) from their online website, and it was a reasonable rate (about $80 US). Did you guys send a "thank you" note to your interviewers? If so, did you contact the Admissions Office/Interview Coordinator for their information? Yes, I sent a thank-you note to my interviewer. I had asked her for her e-mail address before I left on interview day.

Rach
I was Amcas verified sometime in early August. Still have not heard from Vandy. Should leave all the hopes? I'm in the same boat and I'm pretty certain that if we haven't gotten an invite by now, our rejection is coming. From what I've seen, the invites arrive first, then rejections trickle in later. Most people complete in early august are now receiving rejections. Though I suppose there might be exceptions! ETA: I guess I shouldn't crush your dreams unless I know what date Vanderbilt sent you the "complete" email. I got it on Aug 4th and I have little hope. Hopefully you were complete later on and you still have a shot.

Gitanjali
congrats on Boston rmitch!! omg thats so biggg. I had Boston on my list but then i took it off because I saw on their website that the majority of their marticulants are from Ivy league schools such as JHU, Harvard etc so I took it off. Do you think its worth a shot for me, considering how late it is in the app procedure. My stats are: 3.91 AMCAS gpa 35S MCAt - 10 in VR, 12 in BS and 13 in PS EC - Average nothing flashy

I didn't go to an Ivy school either. I remember the secondary work being minimal, so if you don't mind paying the fee I would do it up. Based on your numbers, you have a great shot.
