should i accept defeat that im not getting in off tier 2?

I would not give up hope! People can still be on waitlists in other schools and opt for the other school quite late in the game! It's crazy hard waiting but I would still be cautiously optimistic going into July and August

Someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but I think that Tier 1 means you're closer to the front of the waitlist. It should mean that you have a pretty good chance at getting an offer as IP people decline. I think in past years it's gone into Tier 2, meaning everyone in Tier 1 would have received an offer.

Pretty shocked honestly. Evidently I must have totally bombed the MMI so bad that I didn't even make the waitlist, yet not done poorly enough on it to actually fail it, as my only listed reason for rejection is lack of overall application competitiveness, not failing the MMI itself. Really surprising since I felt like I actually did okay on it, certainly not this bad, but I guess that's just how it goes. Ah well, It'll be interesting to see what my feedback form looks like, whenever we're supposed to get that.
