I'm afraid they don't get my email and don't schedule me for an interview >_< I had gotten a reply from Leslie Taylor probably the next day. I'm sure they will let you know if they did not receive a confirmation!
LotusFlower
Clearly, I have too much time waiting here. Does anyone know how U of T divides their review piles? There were ~3500 applicants with 8 interview dates this year. That works out to 8 groups with ~ 438 applicants in each group. This is assuming they are evenly dividing us into pools (at random) when they review our files. I mean it would be grossly unfair if they didn't do something like this. Any thoughts? RedLily
In general, to me, it seems (geez enough qualifiers here? lol) that invites tend to go out later in the week. So I'm only going to start 'worrying' Wednesday-Friday. yeah right. (go ahead uoft, prove me wrong )

I wouldn't stress just yet. Given that the weekend was busy with interviews, I wouldn't be surprised if Leslie is taking a couple days off. khaleesi90
I'm still waiting for an email as well, as are two of my other friends. This has been dragged on for way too long...

skynet
Also waiting here. Trying not to get TOO excited about getting my rejection this week, since last year the last rejections went out just days before the last interview day.

Seems logical to me but kind of worries me considering there are less than 160 interview spots for about 876 applicants. Either way the waiting will be over soon! skynet
Really unsettling quiet! It's funny when you see 60 people viewing the thread and nobody says anything all day.
swell9
Does anybody have any idea of how long of a notice they usually give? For the few of us that will get invited that is. Would they just tell you a week before to come to the interview? That seems a little too short of a notice to me. Because, otherwise, shouldn't have they sent out their decisions already given the last day of interviews is March 30?
NSMED
Praying for more notice than a week but I wouldn't be surprised if that's what some people are given. I plan on moving on March 30th so it would be nice to know soon so that I can make alternate plans ..
Silverwolf1277
My buddy got about a week's notice last year. He actually first got an invite, then was told it was a mistake, then got a real invite a week before. Haha nerve-racking.
RedLily
It really seems to me that it's later in the week that emails go out (aka it better be tomorrow) Okay, since we've got time to kill; in this waiting-for-news drama, I'll take the role of annoying optimist and say "I've got a good feeling about tomorrow, invites are still coming out!" We still need a protagonist, pessimist, comic relief character, that-guy-that-dies-first/redshirt, self-deprecating character that everyone loves to hate, a villain (uoft admissions obviously) and an omnipresent narrator (A current uoft med student... Leon?).

skynet
I'll be the pessimist! In all likelihood, they've reviewed all the applications by now, those of us who haven't heard are either "for sure reject" or "probably reject" and the only reason they haven't told us yet is JUST IN CASE someone with a march 29/30 interview cancels and they need to select someone else. So they won't let us know til March 28, probably?
