Family Medicine Resident Family Medicine Residents will complete an approved family medicine residency training program within 6 months or they have completed an approved family medicine residency training program not longer than three years ago. For a full description of eligibility criteria for family medicine residents please refer to the CFPC website. Apply for Spring Apply for Fall Practicing Family Physician Practicing Family Physicians may qualify for the Certification Examination in Family Medicine based on a combination of training and practice experience that is equal to five years or more. For a full description of eligibility criteria for practicing family physicians please refer to the CFPC website.
