3.98, MCATS WAY ABOVE CUTOFFS

VANCOUVER

GOT INTO QUEEN'S AND UWO - I really want UofT or UBC (waitlisted) though. I need a diverse city. To all the non-whites at Queen's...how do you survive there in Kingston? I remember being so depressed when I was there doing interview weekend...

Good luck to everyone waiting...hopefully I'll get into UBC or UofT soon.

Biological Sciences: 15

I was accepted by Queens & McMaster. This is my first time applying.

Of all the schools I applied to, I'd like to attend McMaster as my first choice.

Hey everyone,

Just a reminder to please keep this sticky focused on accepted/rejected/waitlisted information, so that it can be helpful to people applying in future years, as well as those on the waitlist. Please create a new or add to existing threads for other questions.

Thanks,

Elaine

ACCEPTED!!!!!

I was on the waitlist and got an email at 8am this morning with an offer of admission!!! Such a surprise! I was not expecting things to start moving until at least monday. I was hoping I was near the top of the list; and I guess I was!

OMSAS GPA: 3.91

MCAT: VR 10, BS 12, PS 12, WS S (34S)

ECs: Nothing too special. Some work, volunteering, a summer of research, intramural sports bla bla bla.

I thought the interview went pretty well coming out of it. I was satisfied with my answers and was able to answer all the questions. I don't think I came of as nervous, and I think I seemed happy to be there.

Good luck to everyone else on the waiting list. IT'S MOVING!!!
