Scorbix
Interesting, I really think it will be red this year given that all of the other colours with the exception of pink (at least to my knowledge) have already been made for previous classes. OwnerOfTheTARDIS
Someone mentioned in another thread that the vote doesn't actually impact the colour of the backpacks... looks like they were right based on the wording of the post

Soda_can_med
Can it even be orange, blue or green, since the past few years have been those colours. It's basically going to be red, black or pink. Since the whole point of the backpack is for it to stick out in public, it comes down to red and pink, and I have a feeling red would make more sense with the Canada and 150 years theme. hero147
Last couple of colours starting from the most recent were: turquoise (with black accents), purple, green, orange, red, blue, and grey.
MHCClassII
Exactly how and why is pink the second most popular option according to the current poll?? I've heard the pink being an option in past years as well, but really hope we don't end up being the year with pink backpacks. GO TEAM RED!! trimethoprim
some people may genuinely want pink, but I think the majority of voters are upper years or non medical students who are simply trolling us
moonlitocean
Not gonna use it if it's pink
HalfBaked
No, why dont they have pastel colors, it's so more trendy this year. A light blue backpack would have been so fiine. As long as we don't get orange, it's gonna be fine.
OwnerOfTheTARDIS
I would be down with pastels, but I'm always spilling food and coffee so mine probably wouldn't last 4 years if it was pastel
brady23
I really hope it isn't black or pink. Red would be awesome - especially for Canada's 150th!
Snowmen
Considering the 150th anniversary, it's definitely going to be red. The vote doesn't have any impact anyways. Sorry folks!

HalfBaked
I personally think pink is an amazing statement against heteronormativity, which is good since as doctors we try to be open minded and have as little bias/prejudices as possible. Why would pink not be considered as manly as any other color.
HalfBaked
Likewise, I prefer black to for its universality and discretion. But let's be honest, there is a stigma associated with the color pink because it is seen as a girly color due to decades of marketing going in that sense. If you gave the choice between bright green or bright pink, I'm pretty sure bright green would win it.
