It looks like UAlberta Psych is out... if we haven't heard back yet is that bad news?

Hey everyone! Since a lot of the 2nd/3rd years are heading back to clinical duties (or are already back) after being pulled out because of COVID-19, I'm just wondering what (if any) clinical curriculum different schools implemented to prepare clerks to go back to the clinical environment. If you feel comfortable sharing what your school has done, I'd appreciate it!

UofT has just cancelled all clinical activities for clerks until March 29.

If you think about each of the questions, each is typically structured to represent one of the clusters. Take this opportunity to both (a) answer the question, (b) ensure you're following UofT's guidelines, and (c) tell the adcom about yourself.

~18 spots are at WCH, so your chances of getting it depend on how many other people want WCH as well. Same logic applies to second year hospital placements - completely depends on who in PB wants what. They try to equalize the distance people have to travel in the 1st and 2nd years, so folks at NYGH in 1st year tend to get first dibs on WCH in 2nd year and vice versa.

I agree - seems to be more of an issue with your ABS/non-academic descriptions. Regarding USMD competitiveness, I think you are, generally, competitive, but keep in mind that USMDs almost require you to have shadowing experience.

Probably did well on 5 of the stations, okay on a few more, and could have done a lot better on the rest.
