Note on Minerva for QC Residency: GL ?

I logged in to Minerva today and saw that a note appeared in the column beside "QC Residency Verified" that says GL (date received Nov 12, 2020).

I haven't been able to find what GL stands for, I would like to believe it means green light, but would be interested in hearing ideas from forum members.

I posted too quickly, I found the answer in another thread. GL are the initials of the person who verified the document.

Where did you find your QC residency status? Is it in the Checklist column?

I don't think so, they have a lot of applicants and they probably will take weeks to verify everyone. They contacted me to clarify my QC residency and they wrote back saying it has been verified. Yet nothing shows up on my minerva, so I think there is a processing time plus, it takes time to get through everyone

Yup. GL did their job well! My file status says: Ready for Review.

not me! mine doesn't have any initials, although last year mine was updated around the first week of december

Nope, still not verified either. They even emailed me yesterday because they needed more information to prove my residency.

For people who still did not get verified, does "QC Residency Verified" even show up in your minerva checklist or not?

IF mine says ready for review, but does not have the QC residency verified, it means it has not verified the QC residency right? cuz last year around this time, my QC residency was already verified!!!

I'm sure they'll only contact you if there's a problem with what you submitted. They contacted me because even though I proved QC residency through one of the situations, they wanted me to prove it through another one that was more appropriate or something like that. And my filed does say "Ready for Review." I'm sure it's just taking them time and nothing to worry about.

I have no idea! Fouille-moé, comme on dit en bon québécois They checked mine without me doing anything, I do have a quebec birth certificate and a "code permanent" though...

yea mine says "ready for review" but last year, at this time, it also had sth at the bottom saying " quebec residency verified"
