Depends, some schools have more specific requirements,don't assume they are all the same. I had two science, one non-science from undergrad, and for most schools I was able to add a supplemental letter from a volunteer supervisor. You print the transcript request form from AMCAS, and take it to the transcript center at Sideny Smith. Then you'll pay for the transcript print fee and ask them to attach the form to your transcript and send it to AMCAS for you. I believe you put in extra hours (4 instead of 3 for half courses and 8 instead of 6 for full courses) and do the same in the secondaries if they ask. I am not sure how all of this is confirmed. I had to do this for OMSAS as well last year and it wasn't a problem Haha it's looking more and more like I won't actually make the June 1st deadline. Amcas says "Indicate your credit hours or units EXACTLY as they appear on your transcript" on https://services.aamc.org/AMCAS2_2012/WebApp/Help/WebHelp/Course_Work_Credit_Hours.htm So, half year courses are given 3 hours and full year course 6 hours irrespective of lab components based on what is written in the transcript. That would cut me off at most schools because I will not meet the required 8 hours in Orgo, Biochem etc. Does Amcas automatically correct hours?
