Hmmmm, so I used some of my scholarship $ to splurge on a new aquarium! Got a used 25-gallon from Kijiji, it came with a canopy/lights, a brand new $80 powerhead filter, a heater, gravel (which I didn't like, so I'll buy a different kind), and 1 plant...all for $90! Would cost at least $200 new, the damn canopies are usually like $70 alone.

I think I'm gonna move my piranhas to that tank, they need more space if they are to grow bigger (which they can) and then get some green puffers for my 10-gallon...

OMG, one of my friends on practicum has the worst luck ever...she just got exposed to bacterial meningitis, so they quarantined her at her preceptor's house and put her on all these meds, and she can't leave the house for 7 days! Can't do any calls, either, she's just stuck there for a week (and she was supposed to get back on Saturday...)....lol, sucks so bad.

I am was amazing when they describe the abuse in such matters as "minimal". Makes me wonder what they think major abuse would be!

lol yeah i know, i wonder if organ harvesting is minimal...

uh I love how they report this as if nobody new about this before.

Well, that kinda messes with my plans, I was just hoping to embarrass him by noting it...loudly. If we got a call, even better. "What's wrong today, Hazel?" *boingggg*:D

VIENNA (Reuters) - An Austrian woman who bombarded her son with phone calls over a two-and-a-half year period was fined by a court for stalking him, Austrian media reported on Thursday.

The 73-year-old woman, who phoned her son up to 49 times a day was fined 360 euros ($478) by the court in the southern city of Klagenfurt.

"I just wanted to talk to him," the woman told the court, according to Austrian newspaper Kleine Zeitung. "I can't talk to my son, nor my daughter. I've never seen my grandchild -- who is already 15-years-old," she said.

The case was brought by the son. The court did not release their names.
