coolnad17
Congrats to everybody who got an invite! Does anybody know how many people they interviewed two years ago when the cut-off was an R? Just wondering how many interview spots they're trying to cut - I believe last year they interviewed 800 people for 150 seats? Thanks
supafield
Last year 760 for 100 spots Year before the (with R cutoff) ~ 500 interviewed for 100 spots

I hate how it's just one score just one grade lower the cutoff. Oh well. The other schools haven't replied yet, and I'm going to remain positive. There is always next year if this year doesn't work out.
coolnad17
Does that mean VR cutoff is more than 10?? You mean, 10 or more? Looks like it for now....
supafield
looks like it was a 10 in Vr.... someone has gotten an interview with a 10 in verbal and an R, and another rejected with a 9 verbal and R in WS... assuming it's as simple as that.... supafield
and sorry for confusing people with the 2 threads.. If everyone could use this one for discussion and the other straight stats, I imagine we can figure out the details sooner than later.
rmitch8
Definitely looks like they're cutting down the number of interviews for this year. 760 interviewed for 100 seats and then sticking (almost) everyone else on the waitlist all summer last year was absolutely absurd. Definitely makes more sense to interview ~500 ppl, it's too bad they have to do it by these strict cutoffs though.
ratatat
We just have to hope Western doesn't increase their standards, because a lot of people here have what it takes for Western. Well, at least what it took last year (9, 10, 11, Q)

I don't know about that.... Theres people on here with 4.0's/37Q's (not me) not getting interviews. Crazy stuff....

HBP
Do we have any idea what the PS and BS cutoffs are yet? Not enough info to compute, but the lowest so far is a 10/10/10/R. No idea of cumulative score, but a 32 has been invited.

Unless MCAT inflation is wilder that we can imagine, you would have to think number of interviews have returned to their old figures. I could be missing something though.
