newmy88
I haven’t completed the second English requirement for UBC and have been on a waitlist for 3 months to get into an English course for second semester in the case I got an interview... and I finally got into the course today! I’m hoping that’s the universe telling me it’s necessary and a good sign PeanutButter1, gin_and_myoclonic, Fast_Layne and 1 other

pre-med 12344321
This may be a dumb question, but I don't think I have a percentage GPA? My school only gives out letter grades and now I'm wondering if this has affected my application seeing as everyone on here has a percent grade? Does anyone know about this? I have mostly As with few A+ in Alberta. In Alberta, they consider A and A+ as both 4.0. But in UBC, they see A and A+ differently and I did calculation to get the average of 88% with their grade conversion table

PreMed#219099
so with a 92.26%, does that mean that's the cut-off for OOP this year?
Sarahread460
So the highest mark is a 95 then?

patfussy
300+applicants this year compared to last year. wonder what lead to such an increase in applicant numbers... the other stats did not seem to change much. 121 more OOP but still 180 IP.. good luck everyone fingers crossed. PreMed#219099
stupid question: if my school does 85+ as a 4.0, can I calculate my aGPA for UBC (which does 85-89 as a 3.9) by adding the GPA for each course (e.g. 3.9+3.7+4.0+3.7+3.9+...) and divide by the number of courses? Or is it a lot more complicated than that?
